The Naylor DENDUCT underground duct system consists of DN100 and 150 vitrified clay plain-end ducts with flexible sleeve couplings and fittings. The Denduct sleeve coupling locates the joint and prevents the ingress of debris. It is not intended to provide a water-tight seal. Naylor Denduct was specifically developed for the enclosure and protection of underground cables or other services.

Denduct is rigid and therefore does not distort under loading. The plastic sleeve permits movement at each joint whilst the central annular recess of the coupling allows additional flexibility, thereby accommodating settlement and ground movement. The ducts and couplings are unaffected by chemicals and bacteria normally found in the ground and ground water. Denduct is extremely durable. For design purposes, a limit to the life of a duct system need not normally be considered.
Denduct jointing and laying is a straightforward operation even where multiways are required. Denduct is supplied in easy-to-handle lengths and are delivered in conveniently sized packs. Upon request, Denduct can be supplied on a self off-loading vehicle. Where shorter lengths of duct are required, Denduct may be cut on site. The Naylor Pipe Cutter is easy to use, accurate and inexpensive. Sharp edges should be removed with a hammer or by using a purpose made trimmer.

The Naylor DENLINE underground drainage system of DN100, 150, 225, 300 plain-end, vitrified clay perforated pipes with flexible polyethylene sleeve joints, was specifically developed for ground water and surface water drainage of all types, including motorways, roads, sports grounds, racecourses, land reclamation, retaining walls and land drainage. Depending upon the nature of the surrounding soil, consideration may need to be given to the grading of permeable fill to avoid the migration of fine soil particles toward the drain system.
Description
Clayware vitrified clay perforated pipes and un-perforated fittings manufactured in accordance with BS EN295-5. Sleeve Couplings are injection moulded in polyethylene to BS 3412.
Joint Performance
The Denline sleeve coupling locates the joint and prevents the ingress of debris. It is not intended to provide a watertight seal.
Aggressive Environments
The pipes, fittings and couplings are resistant to attack from chemicals,
aggressive soils and bacteria. In addition they have a high abrasion resistance.
Range
Perforated pipes from DN100 to DN300 with a range of un-perforated bends
and junctions. The details above are standard at the time of publication
but these may vary due to changes in manufacturing facilities.
